Volunteer With Us

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Share the Harvest.  We need Distribution Volunteers and Produce Pick-Up Volunteers. Training for both jobs will be provided.

Distribution Volunteers 
will sort donated garden produce and organize its distribution to agencies that come to pick up at the warehouse of the Interactive Resource Center, 407 E. Washington St.
Distribution volunteers start at 9:00AM and finish at 12 noon or earlier.

Produce Driver Volunteers 
will use their own vehicles to pick up donated produce from the NC A&T Farm, 3136 McConnell Rd., and from the NC Cooperative Extension Office, 3309 Burlington Rd. 
They pick up beginning at 9:00am on Monday or Thursday morning, and then deliver the produce to the warehouse entrance of the Interactive Resource Center, 407 E. Washington Street between 9:15 and 9:45.  After delivery, this task is complete.
